You’ve mistaken choreography for love
Dawn French as Amy Winehouse, Jennifer Saunders as Britney Spears.

The Bandit
Huge points to the fug girls for pointing out one of my own grammatical pet peeves, the “non-word” everytime.

More messing with the ’80s
What if there were a sitcom set in the Mos Eisley cantina? (If you’re going “huh?” right now, don’t bother with the video.)

The Forbidden Dance
It’s Golden Girls. It’s “Closer.” It’s (slightly) gay. What more could you ask for?

Tams in real life
Last night I had the pleasure of Tammy’s company for about four hours and my throat still hurts from laughing so much. After disturbing shoppers and workers alike at a Home Depot, then getting caught in a downpour in the parking lot, we hung out at my place and went through old high school notes and such. Yes, we were huge geeks, and yes, we still are.
On my birthday recently she pointed out that I’m her oldest friend (in terms of duration of friendship, not age) and that goes both ways. We’ve been friends half our lives. I told her I think it’s because we see each other so infrequently — she hasn’t had the chance to annoy me much. (Although if she keeps trying to persuade me to give dresses a try — by way of the poncho, the gateway drug of feminine clothing — it’s totally over between us.)
Other than that, this rainy weekend has been about housework (the usual bandaid solutions of dispersing clutter, doing only some of the dirty dishes, etc.) and spending too much time online, finding goofy YouTube vids (see future posts) and some excellent new music via Mixwit. If I wasn’t so lazy I’d be trying out this tool and posting mixed tapes of my own.

Borman Academy
Go back to school at Borman Academy.
Liz Feldman cracks me up. For some reason when she says the word “lady” I almost pee myself.
